How We Work

We believe building a home should be fun!

At Ron Clark Construction & Design we work diligently during the building and construction management of your home to keep your stress level at a minimum, the communication flowing and the excitement building. A Ron Clark Construction & Design manual, The New Home Guide from Start to Finish, will be given to you and will provide you with details and contacts you need. 

Here is what you can expect:

Step 1: Purchase Document Process

Your initial reservation is the first step toward owning a new home. The New Home Specialist will explain floor plans, available homes, features and pricing. Once you’ve selected your home, the purchase documents will be prepared for your review and signature. Earnest money is required upon signing of the contract.

Step 2: Selection Process

Your Construction & Design Coordinator will help you establish convenient dates for your selection meetings. You will be provided with selection due dates in several categories such as appliances, cabinets and interior finish selections. These dates are used to set completion and closing dates. Don’t worry your Construction & Design Coordinator will help you stay on track.

Step 3: Pre-Closing Inspection and Orientation

The Pre-Closing Inspection and Orientation is an introduction to your new home. It will be scheduled approximately 30 days prior to your closing date. The inspection will take approximately two hours. You will be given detailed information about the mechanical features and maintenance of your home. This is also the time for you to note any specifics that need to be completed before closing.
Step 4: Closing Process
Our Closing Department will coordinate the details of the actual closing. They will provide you specific information about the settlement approximately 15 to 30 days prior to the closing date. They will keep in touch with you to insure that you bring any required documents and cashier checks. Your home will be finished and ready for move-in so closing is a relaxing get-together for signatures, keys and coffee.
