Construction Timeline
The projected schedule for completing a home from groundbreaking to closing, typically four to twelve months at Ron Clark, depending on home type and customization.
Change Order
A formal document authorizing a modification to the original purchase agreement or construction scope, such as a design change or upgrade.
Closing
The final step in the purchase process, during which ownership transfers from builder to buyer, documents are signed, and keys are handed over.
Mechanical Systems
The integrated systems providing essential home services, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical. Ron Clark homes are built with quality, durable mechanical systems appropriate for Minnesota’s demands.
Foundation
The structural concrete base of a home. In Minnesota, foundations are engineered to withstand freeze-thaw cycles and soil conditions unique to our climate.
Building Inspection
A formal review by a licensed municipal inspector at key construction stages to verify code compliance. Ron Clark homes undergo multiple inspections throughout the build.
Groundbreaking
The ceremonial or actual beginning of construction, marked by initial site preparation and excavation.
